Interpreted a painting by Janis Rozentāls.

The task was to create a painting based on the composition of selected work by J. Rozentāls (Teika 1899), interpreting it in an abstract way. The use of colour was free.

In my work, I used bright contrasting colours and combined forms into an abstract composition while keeping the image still recognizable.

We want to control life situations, emotions, and impulses, but this is not always possible.
The painting captures the clash of contrasting emotions that collide and intensify, transforming into a single impulse.
Dynamic colors highlight the moment of transition — from inner tension to action.
